Rob Thompson is the Senior Director of Marketing and Sales at Birkman International, where he leads initiatives at the intersection of behavioral science, data analytics, and AI innovation to empower organizations and coaches worldwide. His work transforms complex human data into actionable insights that drive engagement, performance, and culture transformation. At Birkman, Rob has advanced the integration of AI into sales enablement, client engagement, and product development, helping teams leverage behavioral intelligence responsibly in an AI-driven landscape. He partners with executive teams and coaches to modernize how human insight and artificial intelligence converge, ensuring technology enhances authentic connection and leadership development rather than replacing it.

Before Birkman, Rob founded and led a consulting firm that partnered with sales and marketing organizations across North America to rebuild teams and architect buyer-centric strategies. Earlier, as a sales leader at Invesco, he drove growth with strategic institutional accounts and developed high-performing client teams. Known for his engaging storytelling and pragmatic coaching style, Rob helps leaders cut through complexity, foster collaboration, and build resilient, high-performing teams. He holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Rhode Island and an MBA from the University of Houston. Outside work, he explores the outdoors—recently hiking the Lighthouse Trail in Palo Duro Canyon—and volunteers with the Boy Scouts of America, the Greater Houston Partnership, and the Central Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce.
